Learning Objectives

At the end of this course participants will develop: 

  1. Increased competence in teaching students, residents and other health professionals in all clinical and non-clinical settings 
  2. Increased skill in writing and publishing health-related articles with the intention of influencing practice, policy or research related to underserved populations. 
  3. Increase confidence and competence in approaching the grant writing process to secure funding for clinic-based or public health-based initiatives designed to improve individual or population health as demonstrated by writing a portion of a grant proposal.
